Rugby is home to a number of developments that will help grow the number of jobs and opportunities in the area, including:

• A new retail development and Asda store in Chapel Street, Rugby.
• A new Warwickshire College site in Leicester Road, Rugby.
• Restoration work at Caldecott Park; Rugby Borough Council has been awarded nearly £1,000,000 by the Heritage Lottery Fund to undertake a major restoration programme at the Park.

There are also some exciting new projects on the horizon that will help to create jobs and opportunities in the area, including:

• Plans for a new development in Rugby town centre which include a possible hotel, apartments and a public plaza.
• Plans for the development of a large research and development park at Ansty. 
• Future plans also include developing tourism, leisure and retailing in the area.
